Rated 99/100 by Parker, the Mosel Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Auslese*** White 2020 is a pinnacle of balance and delicacy. Even those who are hesitant about sweet wines should succumb because such cuvées are equal to the myths of the planet... The finesse of the aromas, of pure and ripe fruit, apricot and citrus, the refinement and grace here command respect. The concentrated, creamy structure finds a perfect balance and ideal freshness, with a slightly saline finish. A fabulous Auslese, with an incredible 7% alcohol. All the nuances of precise winemaking, which will keep for many years (unless you succumb to it today).

Vinification:

Hand harvested at the end of October. Pressing and maceration on their skins. Long and spontaneous fermentation at low temperature. Aging on lees in stainless steel tanks.

Gold capsule. Sweet wine.

Color:

Bright golden yellow.

Nose:

Fresh and pure with beautiful aromas of yellow and exotic fruits underlined by a beautiful minerality.

Palate:

Intense and precise, we find on this wine an elegant Riesling on a good tone; and appreciate this beautiful minerality.

Temperature:

Serve at 8 to 12°C.
