Wine:

Just released from the cellars after two decades of slow aging, the 2004 Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 Vintage Champagne reveals a new facet of its personality and vintage. Notes of pastries and ripe fruits fill a broad and airy structure, still marked by the powerful style of 'Dom Pé,' but with renewed charm and delicacy. The finish stretches the wine in its depth, with a surprisingly easy savory dimension. Another stroke of genius. Rated 95/100 by Parker.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Produced from the harvest of a single year. Maturation of about 15 years.

Color:

Golden, glittering.

Nose:

Beautiful maturity of the fruit with this mineral side and marked by flavors of fig, cocoa, mocha, roast, brioche and honey.

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Aperitif, shellfish: roasted lobster or slipper lobster with tarragon butter, fillet of turbot and its beurre blanc, cheeses such as Comté 24 months, matured Brie de Meaux, extra-aged mimolette.

As the world's most renowned Champagne, Dom Pérignon has cultivated an unmistakable style, shrouded in secrets that add to its legendary status. This exceptional cuvée pays homage to the monk Pierre Pérignon, who, it is said, mastered the art of blending in the quiet confines of the Hautvillers abbey and gave birth to Champagne.

With its commanding character, robust length, and delightful toasty nuances, Dom Pérignon stands as an absolute pinnacle of Champagne, always released as a vintage. Its delicate effervescence, refined texture, and profound depth are unrivaled: "Dom Pé" remains a coveted treasure for enthusiasts, and as it matures, it transforms into a wine of extraordinary harmony, suitable for more than just sipping outside of meal times.
