Wine:

The 2022 Red Terrasses du Larzac Les Clapas is a dry and mineral wine that reflects the harsh climate of this part of the world, surrounded by low walls of dry earth called "clapas". The dominant Syrah grape, vinified in whole grapes, brings finesse and a smooth delicate and fresh style. This great Languedoc wine is one of the must-haves of the area and offers a beautiful demonstration of the freshness of the south. Rated 92+/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, Syrah in whole bunches, Carignan and Grenache co-fermented, vatting time of 21 days, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in wooden vats, maturing in truncated cone and concrete tanks.

Organic and Biodynamic wine, certified.

Bright red.

Nose:

Fruity and fresh with dominant notes of Syrah, black and red fruit and garrigue.

Palate:

This wine is delicate and elegant, with a clean and silky texture that reveals a mineral side in the palate.
