Château Petit Faurie De Soutard - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru - Red - 2020

Wine:

The 2020 Petit Faurie de Soutard Red comes from an exceptional terroir on the heights of Saint-Émilion. In this vintage, the estate has produced a wine of remarkable class, perfectly balancing controlled power with refined aromatics. The blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon shows rare elegance: a floral nose layered with fresh dark fruit, hints of chalk and spice, and a focused, vibrant palate. Silky tannins lead to a saline finish of impressive length.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, malolactic fermentation and aging in barrels (50% new and 50% one-wine barrels).

Color:

Brilliant ruby.

Nose:

Aromas of black fruits (plum, cherry, blueberry) combined with spicy and floral notes.

Palate:

A slender, straightforward wine supported by silky tannins and a beautifully persistent, salty finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Grilled and roasted red meats, braised sweetbreads.
