Still very young, the 2021 Red Chinon Les Varesnes opens with aromas of black fruit and striking graphite notes. The palate is concentrated and perfectly ripe, with firm, structured tannins. A fine bottle built to age, best enjoyed over the next six to eight years, and worth decanting if needed. Rated 92 out of 100 by the Selection Committee.Vinification:
