Wine:

With a remarkable maturity of flavors, the Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is distinguished by its elegance, its delicate notes of white fruit, citrus, and chalk, with a slightly pastry-like touch. The structure is chiseled, vibrant, of great purity and with a perfectly ripe and round character. This pure Chardonnay, with a refreshing lemony finish, is a great Champagne wine, intended primarily as an aperitif, with delicate dishes such as fish carpaccio. Its second skin case molded on the shape of the bottle protects the wine perfectly from the light. An additional asset for its keeping!

Vinification:

Hand harvested, alcoholic fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, complete malolactic fermentation. Blend of 25 to 30 vintages and composed of 20 to 30% of reserve wine. Aged for 2 to 3 years.

Ruinart is the oldest Champagne House, founded in Reims in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart. Famous for its intense champagnes, of great aromatic freshness, largely marked by the imprint of the chardonnay and delicate toasted notes, the House perpetuates its "Ruinart taste" of flexibility and elegance.

To preserve its authenticity and freshness, the company created this "second skin" case, which now replaces its boxes and crystallizes the company's sustainable commitment. This 99% paper case, which can be recycled and molded to the shape of the bottle, is very light (40 g compared to 355 g for the old case) and reduces the carbon impact by 60%. Another advantage is that it can be stored for several months in the refrigerator, is not affected by humidity and can be kept for up to 3 hours in a bucket filled with ice.
