Wine:

Resplendent, the 2010 Red Pessac-Léognan Château Smith Haut-Lafitte combines generosity, power and elegance with perfect balance. Great intensity of flavors such as fruit, fine spices, fresh leather, and cedar are combined in a slender and long palate, with a beautiful tension and freshness. One of the great references of an unforgettable vintage.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Vinification of whole berries in small wooden vats at 28°C, extraction by manual punching down. Aged on lees for 18 months in French oak barrels, 65% of which are new, made in their integrated cooperage.

Dense red, deep almost black.

Aromas of black fruits mixed with notes of fine spices, fresh leather and touches of cedar

Palate:

Slender, long and persistent, this wine brilliantly combines generosity, power, precision and depth
