Wine:

Crafted from high-altitude vineyards, up to 600 meters above sea level, the 2019 Red Beaumes-de-Venise is an ode to Provence, presenting beautiful aromas of black fruits, pepper, and garrigue. It is a mature and harmonious wine, aged in vats and barrels, with a beautiful texture, smooth tannins, and a slight licorice finish. It is truly a great bottle, rated 16/20 by our Selection Committee which recommends serving it with stewed meat of a Limousin beef rib.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Maturation of Burgundy type with 50% in barrels of 3 to 5 wines and 50% in stainless steel tanks.

Color:

Intense red with vermilion highlights.

Nose:

Delicious aromas of black fruits mixed with notes of garrigue and pepper.

Palate:

Rich and harmonious, this is a wine of great freshness, with smooth tannins and a slightly liquorice finish. A real treat!

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

Baked Limousin beef rib, beef bourguignon, navarin of lamb.
