Always on the lookout for the most accomplished expressions of each appellation, our Selection Committee sscours the vineyards to find wines of identity at the right price, able to meet our most rigorous standards.  

Bordeaux is a formidable reservoir of this kind of unknown gems, while being unfortunately rather underestimated today. Sensitive to the potential of its terroirs, we have unearthed some superb wines from the Pessac-Léognan area!

Fruity but without exuberance, in a beautiful aromatic purity, the 2019 White Pessac-Léognan Pessac by VALAP delivers itself on fine exotic notes of passion fruit, and a touch of grapefruit. The whole is very fragrant, intense and very fresh. The palate is very pure, with a good amplitude and a nice richness. It is a dry, balanced, ripe and fresh white wine, with a good persistence of flavors. A very nice wine to be enjoyed as an aperitif, with a seafood platter or pan-fried prawns.

On an aromatic register still primary at this stage, with hints of licorice and balsamic, the 2019 Red Pessac-Léognan Pessac by VALAP unfolds a suave palate with a rather fine and delicate style. Its roundness, its pure and well-designed flavors of fruit, and its supple tannins form a very nice, medium-bodied Pessac wine. A bottle to serve with roasted poultry or a rack of veal with thyme.
