Wine:
Semi-dry in style (20 g/l sugar), the 2020 White Alsace Gewurztraminer offers a deep version of this grape variety. No overpowering perfume, the notes of fresh cumin and rose come together in great harmony. The maturity and the typicity of the grape variety are not absent, but the wine seduces first by its smoothness and its mineral imprint. A very nice Gewurztraminer to be associated with a matured farmhouse Munster cheese or a spicy cuisine.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Vines aged from 35 to 60 years, around Niedermorschwihr, granitic soil. Whole bunch pressing, static settling, no thermoregulation, fermentation from 2 to 6 months. Aged on lees for 11 months. Natural residual sugar : 20 g/l (sweet wine).Color:

Aromas of fresh cumin mixed with notes of rose.Palate:
Delicate and harmonious with perfectly ripe aromas of fruit, this wine seduces with its smoothness and its mineral imprint.
