Wine:

Rated 94/100 by the Committee, the 2018 Red Mendoza Malbec Lunta is a superb concentrate of fresh, juicy flavors of fruit. The very ripe, concentrated, and spicy nose, with slightly smoky accents, hints at the presence of oak. The paradox, or is it just a real achievement, is to maintain such freshness, since at no time does the aromatics tip over to hot or candied fruit. The palate is beautiful, full of ripe, intense, and bright flavors of fruit with a velvety texture, rich in concentration and finesse. A magnificent bottle to be enjoyed within 2 or 3 years with a nice stewed meat, a piece of beef, or a duck breast with spices, for example, and which will keep for another ten years without fear.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, vinification in barrels.

Color:

Intense red, almost black, with garnet-purple reflections.

Nose:

Beautiful spicy and smoky notes carried by aromas of ripe fruits.

Palate:

Fine and concentrated, this wine with a velvety texture releases an intense and fresh juice.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C in large glasses.
