Wine:

Aged only in vats, the 2021 red Côte de Brouilly Mélanie is a fresh and dashing wine with delicious notes of strawberry and red berries. The delicate structure is not very extractive, and the delicate tannins offer a crisp Gamay with a tangy raspberry finish. A digestible, sapid, and gourmet wine, rated 93/100 by the Committee!

Vinification:

Hand harvested, traditional vinification, aged in stainless steel vats, no wood added.

Color:

Dark and brilliant red, of beautiful intensity, with purple reflections.

Nose:

Enchanting aromas of strawberry and red berries.

Palate:

Sapid and delicious, this wine with a charming character offers a lightly extracted and delicate palate, with a finely acidic finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Traditional pâté en croûte, beef onglet à l'échalote, oven-roasted rack of veal, squared and grilled pork belly, roasted farmhouse guinea fowl, matured farmhouse Saint-Nectaire.
