From 92 ares in monopole, the 2016 Red Moulin-à-Vent Le Clos du Moulin-à-Vent is the centerpiece of the estate. On this suave and floral vintage, with a hint of peony, it delivers a delicate, suave texture, with silky tannins; the whole is very balanced and of great harmony. Already ready to drink, extremely well opened, it can be served with a veal chop with cloves, or even a fillet of venison. Rated 94/100 by the Committee.Vinification:
Hand harvested and totally de-stemmed. Alcoholic fermentation in concrete vats, ageing in oak barrels (10% new wood) and demi-muids for 16 months, then in concrete vats for 2 months.Color:
