Wine:
Set in limestone terroir, the 2020 red Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is Burgundy's most famous Clos. Its deep, brilliant color accompanies a nose of red fruit and smoky aromas. The freshness and long finish impress with precision and intensity on the palate. And in magnum format for even greater pleasure!Vinification:
Hand harvested. Vinification 80% whole grapes. 40% matured in new barrels, 60% in barrels aged 1, 2 or 3 years. After 14 months' ageing, the wines are racked into vats, rested for 3 months and bottled without filtering or fining.
