Wine:
On the edge of the Côte de Beaune, the 2019 Aloxe-Corton red is in line with a very refined pinot noir style. Its red currant, blackberry and red fruit flavors, its supple and delicate body, and its tannic presence form a beautiful, long and persistent, well-opened, and very promising wine. It is a skillful reading of a great pinot noir from this sector of Beaune. Enjoy it now with a rabbit in gibelotte or a leg of lamb.Vinification:
Hand harvested, vinification in thermo-regulated conical oak vats, aged 14 to 16 months in oak barrels (20 to 30% new).Color:
Bright and luminous red.Nose:
Scents of red fruits, currants and blackberries.Palate:
Supple and delicate, this wine is very refined and offers an open palate, with good persistence and promise.
