Wine:

A gem of the Côte de Nuits, nestled between Vougeot and Morey-Saint-Denis, the 2019 red Chambolle-Musigny captures the essence of its location perfectly. The clay content in the soils, lower than in other villages, bestows a more delicate profile that contributes to its legendary status. Its aromas of juicy black cherry, rose, and violet are set against a backdrop of great sophistication, where the tannins never overpower. This is an ethereal, comprehensive, and intense wine, best paired with refined cuisine.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, vinification in thermo-regulated oak truncated vats, aged for 14 to 16 months 100% in oak barrels of which 35% are new.

Color:

Ruby red of beautiful intensity.

Nose:

Aromas of black cherry punctuated by scents of rose and violet.

Palate:

Delicate and airy, this wine is a symbol of its appellation, releasing a refined, intense and complex palate.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Rack of pork with sage, veal chop with chanterelles, game birds, red meat.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2032.
