Wine:

Full of charm and suppleness, the 2021 red Beaune 1er Cru Les Vignes Franches is a fresh wine with an assertive character. In this classic vintage, there's no lack of concentration; if the tension is there, so is the flesh. With its sapid relief and beautiful energy between tart cherry and floral notes, this is one hell of a juice!

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Aged in new oak barrels, one wine and two wines. 584 bottles produced.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Roast veal with thyme, roast poultry with jus, sautéed sweetbreads, aged Saint-Nectaire cheese.
