Wine:

The 2021 red Maranges displays intense aromas and structure. Notes of blackberry, delicate spices and black cherry mingle harmoniously in a well-executed palate, supported by just the right amount of oak ageing. Delicate tannins, restrained power and fine persistence make this a very fine Burgundy, to be drunk or aged for another 4 or 5 years.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, aged in oak barrels.

Color:

Bright, intense carmine red.

Nose:

Fresh and very fruity, with aromas of cherries in syrup, blackberries and spices.

Palate:

Full-bodied and structured with abundant notes of fruit, this wine has restrained power and delicate tannins, releasing a juice with fine persistence.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Sautéed veal chop, rack of pork with forgotten vegetables, roast poultry with jus simple, pan-fried duck breast with pink berries.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2028.

Family-run and traditional, the Domaine du Beauregard embodies the very essence of this endearing Burgundy, made up of artisan winemakers. Here, you can still find wines with a very effective price-pleasure equation, and our Committee was not mistaken.
