Wine:

Sourced from 2.5 ha of the family vineyard and the young vines of the famed Clos des Mouches, the 2018 white Côte de Beaune follows in the footsteps of its older counterpart. Grown on first-rate clay-limestone soil with a light structure, the chardonnay exhibits a rare finesse. Biodynamic practices and careful aging in barrels, with 20% new wood, enhance its delicacy and purity of expression. This wine is a sheer delight with notes of honey, almond, and lemongrass, which will evolve into roasted hazelnut as it ages. Enjoy this magnificent white now or cellar it for a few more years.
