Wine:
Sitting on limestone soils on the east-facing side of Pernand, the 2011 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Lavières 1er Cru is a very pretty, fully mature pinot. The aging of more than ten years has allowed it to refine its tannins and to deliver today a blossoming version around pure flavors of fruit and spicy notes. It can be served with a nice veal chop or roasted poultry.Vinification:
Hand harvested, vinification in vats for 3 to 4 weeks, aged 15 months in oak barrels.Color:
