Wine:

Brimming with electric tension, the 2023 Red Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru offers a lifted, subtle, and mineral structure of impressive complexity. Vinification:

Hand harvested. Area of 0.96 hectares, planted in 1956, 1958, 1974, 1981, and 1986. 100% destemmed, vinified in open stainless steel vats. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.

Bright red, with beautiful intensity and great depth.

Nose:

Abundant aromas of black fruits combined with spicy notes.

Palate:

A complex wine, revealing magnificent fruit, with present but well-integrated tannins, on a mineral structure that is tense and beautifully balanced.
