Sourced from old vines just below the Meix Cadot Premier Cru and aged exclusively in new oak barrels, the 2022 Rully En Guesnes Wadana Red is a wine of remarkable concentration and depth. It reveals aromas of ripe blackberries and dark cherries, underscored by subtle spice.

The palate is dense and full of energy, driven by fine-grained tannins and a powerful, structured core. With its intensity and firm grip, this wine has the presence and refinement to reward 6 to 8 years of cellar aging. Rated 94/100 by the RVF Guide.

Vinification:

Hand harvested and de-stemmed. Gentle fermentation and ageing for 18 months in 100% new oak barrels.

A brilliant, intense red.

Palate:

This cuvée displays impressive depth and concentration, with layered flavours of dark berries and subtle spice. The palate is pure and intense, offering a dense, finely structured profile framed by firm, refined tannins. Its balance of power and precision promises excellent aging potential.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C in a large glass.
