Built on beautifully ripe Pinot Noir, the 2023 Givry Champ Lalot Red opens with notes of raspberry coulis and gentle spice. Its fine, vibrant structure is framed by present yet silky tannins, offering a wine that’s both elegant and easy to enjoy. A charming Givry Village with real finesse, perfect for relaxed drinking over the next 5 to 8 years.Vinification:
Hand harvested. 100% de-stemming. Alcoholic fermentation for 15 to 19 days in stainless steel vats, with 2 daily punchings of the cap. Malolactic fermentation and ageing for 12 months in French oak barrels, 10% of which are new.Vineyards of 3 ha, 98 a, 80 ca and 9.85 acres, planted in 1975 and 1979.
