The 2022 red Pommard is an exquisite Pinot Noir, defined by its infused style and refreshing character, supported by well-integrated aging. Its texture follows this delicate profile, extending it with a certain density and a meaty aspect, all the while upheld by beautiful freshness, noble oak, elegant tannins, and a superb balance focusing on finesse. This Pommard leaves a savory, almost saline finish with notes of tart raspberry. It's a wine to be appreciated over the next 7 to 10 years and has been rated 94/100 by our Committee.Vinification:
Hand-harvested, vinified in whole bunches, in open truncated-conical vats, in oak. Decanting and blending of grape juice and press juice.Aged in 228-liter barrels (40% new), on coarse lees, no racking for 16 months, no filtration.
