Clos Canarelli - Corse Figari AOC - Rouge - 2021

Wine:

A faithful ambassador of the House style, the 2021 red Figari Corse has everything to please. The flavors of the fruit are intense and refined, with slightly smoky notes of black fruit and delicate tannins. It's a fresh, elegant wine with persistent energy. With great balance, this is a great Corsican red, both digestible and complex.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, totally de-stemmed. Aged 18 months in foudres and demi-muids.

Certified organic (not mentioned on back label).

Color:

Bright crimson red.

Nose:

Precise and ripe, with a dominant of pit fruits, spicy notes and blood oranges.

Palate:

Fresh and pure, this wine with its delicate tannins is harmonious, juicy, sapid and digestible, with a smoky finish.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Red meats, spicy grills, beef tartar, game dishes.
