Wine:

With its nose of very pure vermentino with a floral tone, the 2022 white Ile de Beauté wine is immediately seductive. The palate is in unison, showing a lot of class and concentration, with a lot of freshness and elegance and delicate bitters on the finish. A perfumed, sapid and delicious wine, which should please the amateurs of delicate and digestible whites! Rated 92+/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, grapes sorted, whole grapes pressed, cold settling at 8°C for 24 hours, fining on must. Fermentation for 15 to 20 days and maturation for 6 months in stainless steel tanks.

Nose:

Beautiful balance supported by floral, mineral tones

Palate:

Fresh and of a beautiful concentration, this wine is elegant accompanied by delicate bitters revealing a perfumed, sapid and delicious whole.

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Aperitif, grilled fish, fresh Corsican cheeses and some salted brocchiu fritters.

Yves Leccia is a renowned ambassador for Corsica and has been awarded a star in the RVF Guide. He is one of the best representatives of the island's terroir. Owning vines on sectors with incredible amounts of schist, called E Croce, this fierce defender of autochthonous grape varieties has 15 hectares of vines in Patrimonio, including the famous parcels of Partinelone, a south-western exposed hillside bathed in sea air.
