Aged exclusively in American white oak barrels, then rested for many years in bourbon barrels, Fercullen Single Grain Irish Whiskey 10 Years is uniquely complex. Subtle notes of vanilla, citrus, malt, spice and toasted oak emerge in turn, over the course of a smooth-tasting experience, based on a silky, coated frame. The velvety grain, and the balanced combination of oak, fruit and sweetness forge a singular whiskey with a long finish of oak and vanilla.

Elaboration:

Non-peated. Aged exclusively in American white oak. It rests for many years before being put back into fresh bourbon barrels.

Nose:

Sweet vanilla notes blending citrus zest, honey, spices, buttered almonds, orange and oak.

Soft grain. Complex combinations of oak, fruit and sweetness. The finish is silky at first and then more intense with oak and vanilla.

Serve between 16 and 18°C in a Glencairn whisky glass.

As an aperitif or digestive, dry, on ice or accompanied by still, neutral spring water at room temperature.

World famous for its 18th-century gardens, Powerscourt is also one of the most exciting - and youngest! - in Ireland. Located on the east coast of the country, south of Dublin, it has had an eventful history, until very recently when it returned to tradition and created its whiskey range with the help of Noel Sweeney, master distiller and world-renowned expert.

Born in the midst of lush nature, forged from the finest ingredients, Fercullen whiskies play the local card, from barley to spring water. Traditional distillation and maturation in ancient casks are the foundations of its unique range, embodied today in these two precise wines.
