Wine:

Solaia is the jewel in the crown of the Antinori family's world-class vineyard. This 10-hectare cru, situated at an altitude of 400 meters, sits on a very specific limestone bedrock. The first vintage, produced in 1978, paved the way for the "super Tuscans". Produced only in the best vintages, the 2019 Red IGT Toscana Solaia is one of Italy's finest wines, and a contender for the title of best wine in the world. It is made to the same exacting standards as the grands crus classés, with everything carefully thought out and orchestrated, from harvesting to ageing in new French oak. The result is a wine of great aromatic complexity, with black fruit, floral, spice and tobacco notes, and a masterly structure driven by its terroir. Generous and impressively smooth, it displays all its breed, making its limestone vibrate like never before. The quintessence of Tuscany, with inimitable originality, capable of dazzling connoisseurs and seducing neophytes with equal emotion. A real feat! Rated 97/100 by Robert Parker.

As France's twin sister, Italy boasts just as many legendary wines, sought after worldwide. Tuscany, in particular, is the blessed land of Italian viticulture.

Sassicaia, Solaia and Masseto are 3 indisputable myths, elite bottles that thrill connoisseurs and collectors alike, and whose quality and value have nothing to envy our Grands Crus Classés or the finest estates in Burgundy.
