AWARDS

Wine rated 93/100 by our committee!

Wine:

The 2024 Red Les Obriers de la Pèira Vin de France is a cuvée of complete harmony, blending ripe flavour and freshness. Backed by beautifully mature grapes, it opens with an intensely aromatic nose, marked by black fruit jam — blackberry and blueberry in particular — with just a hint of smoky character. The palate is concentrated, almost velvety, with well-coated tannins that will support aging. Serve it alongside red meats or game dishes — the power and stature of this generous wine can handle it. Scored 93/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested in 5kg crates. Alcoholic fermentation in open vats. Separate vinification for each grape variety.

For environmental reasons, this wine is sold without a label.

From now until 2030

In no time at all, La Pèira has made a name for itself as one of the most exciting estates in France. The critics are all in agreement: this is the new benchmark for the Languedoc. The Parker Guide even calls it “without a doubt, one of the finest wine estates in all of France.”

The secret behind this success? An extraordinary amount of work from its Australian owners. High-altitude vineyards, ruthless grape selection, and handcrafted barrel aging — every detail is dialled in to perfection.

Almost the entire production is shipped overseas — so getting your hands on a few bottles is a rare privilege.
