Clos des Augustins - IGP Pays d'Oc - Les Popes - Rouge - 2022

Wine:

The 2022 red IGP Pays d'Oc Coulée des Popes is, as always, a gourmet and crisp wine filled with fruity delight. The aromas of red and black fruits dominate, in an efficient palate filled with fresh and crunchy flavors of fruit, perfectly digestible, with a concentrated and elegant structure. A 100% fruity wine, with a strong Languedoc identity, where finesse, freshness, and lightness merge. A great success accessible to all.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, cold pre-fermentation maceration, 20 days fermentation, for a good extraction of the aromas, in thermo-regulated tanks, pumping over, punching down and delestage.
Aged for 9 months with rotation in old barrels and stainless steel tanks.

Organic wine, certified.

Color:

Red beautiful intensity with some purple reflections, brilliant.

Nose:

Without any woody aspect, the nose reveals dominant red and black fruit flavors supported by small touches of crushed blackberries.

Palate:

This wine releases a fruity, crunchy, juicy, and salivating palate revealing a delicate, fresh, and light ensemble accompanied, of course, by a typical Languedoc temperament!

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Delicatessen platter, grilled meats, vegetable tian, simple and convivial family cooking.
