Sourced from a limestone-rich hillside, the 2022 Saumur Les Pentes White is a marvel of purity and salinity — one of the most thrilling whites you’ll encounter. The brilliant expression of Chenin Blanc and its chalky character stretch the wine out beautifully, laced with delicate hints of anise. Striking the perfect balance between concentration, mineral intensity, and finesse, this radiant white offers a modern, refined vision of the great whites of the Saumur region. In magnum format, both the pleasure and aging potential are amplified.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Selection of grapes from the top of the plot. Fermentation and ageing for 24 months in 25hl Stokinger casks. Production limited to 3,100 bottles and 100 magnums.Certified organic wine.
