Wine:

From south-facing clay-limestone parcels, the 2022 White Sancerre Pour Vous spent two years in barrel before unveiling a wine of striking density and character. It’s a truly distinctive white, with sleek, textured richness, shaped by a luminous, almost austere precision. The fruit flavors are vibrant and energetic, carried by a refined, lingering bitterness that gives the wine remarkable structure and length. A radiant future awaits this standout.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, clay-limestone terroir in the ‘Les Vignes Blanches’ vineyard, vinification and ageing for two years in oak barrels.

Biodynamic wine, certified.

Color:

Bright clear gold.

Nose:

Aromas of white fruits mixed with mineral notes.

Palate:

A precise, streamlined wine with impressive depth. The palate unfolds with generous fruit flavors, supported by oak that adds structure and nuance without ever overpowering the wine.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Grilled monkfish skewers with herbs, oven-roasted cod fillet, seafood.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2030 and beyond for enthusiasts

A true master of Sancerre’s finest whites and awarded 2 stars by the French wine guide RVF, Domaine Vincent Gaudry brings back the pure, timeless soul of Sauvignon Blanc.

Working biodynamically, his wines express a raw authenticity—free from technical artifice. What emerges is a precise, deeply personal vision of Sancerre, unlike anything else in the region.

The emotional impact is profound. Tasted at a salon this past January, the wines left a lasting impression on Olivier Poussier, Best Sommelier in the World and member of our Selection Committee.
