Wine:

Rather sunny in character, with notes of juicy pear, the 2018 white Semi-Dry Vouvray Le Haut-Lieu comes with great finesse of expression, where the generous character of the vintage is perfectly tamed, offering a fine persistence of ripe citrus flavors. All in fruit tenderness, in aromatic restraint, slender and hyper digestible, it augurs a magnificent bottle, carried by a bitterness and an invigorating tension for the next fifteen years. Rated 92/100 by the Committee and the RVF.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, 50% of the grapes are vinified and matured in vats, the other half in half muids. Aged for 6 months.
Residual sugars : 18g/l. Semi-dry wine.

Organic wine, certified.
