A model of Chardonnay, the 2021 white Chardonnay IGP Côtes de la Charité delivers a beautiful mineral imprint on the nose that judiciously goes beyond the varietal identity of the grape variety to offer an extremely delicate and pleasant floral register. Delicate, said, and saline, the very fresh wine offers itself without any ostentatious woodiness. This is an excellent aperitif wine to be associated with seafood or cheeses. A wonderful discovery of this unsuspected terroir, which has been cultivated for centuries by the Cistercian monks of Vougeot!Vinification:
