Spearhead of the estate, the 2022 Red Bourgueil Cote 50 offers all the quintessence of a beautiful Cabernet, preserved by a low-intrusive maturation in tuns and jars. The perfectly ripe nose, between aromas of red bell pepper and black fruits, expresses all the freshness and nobility of a ripe and juicy Cabernet. The palate is superb, delivering a full, satin-like wine with rich tannins. A fresh and charming bourgueil of immediate pleasure, totally irresistible. Especially at this price level! Rated 93/100 by the Committee.


Hand harvested in small boxes, double sorting of the grapes with destemming without crushing, alcoholic fermentation in open vats favoring gentle macerations (3-4 weeks), discreet maturing in tuns and stoneware jars for 6 to 12 months aiming at preserving the brightness of the fruit.
