Matthias et Émile Roblin - Sancerre - Origine - Blanc - 2021

Wine:

Fresh and invigorating, the 2021 White Sancerre Origine skillfully handles this racy, chiseled vintage. The nose opens on notes of green apple and juicy pear, with a crisp, chalky side. It remains lively and sharp and extremely light and seductive. One would almost think it was a New Zealand Sauvignon! To be enjoyed with oysters or a seafood platter.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, fermented for 3 to 4 weeks in stainless steel tanks, aged for 6 to 9 months on fine lees with more or less frequent stirring of the lees.

HVE certification.
Estate in organic and biodynamic process not certified.

Color:

Bright light gold.

Nose:

Fresh with floral and fruity flavors such as granny smith apple.

Palate:

Chiselled and sharp, this wine reveals a very tonic side accompanied by a beautiful freshness.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Aperitif, seafood, oysters, goat cheese.
