Sourced from the esteemed terroirs of Charnay and Pierreclos in the Mâconnais, the 2022 white Mâcon-Villages Vallons de Lamartine offers a very pure interpretation of Chardonnay grown on limestone and clay, fine-tuned by exclusive stainless steel tank vinification. This complex white wine is both floral and fruity, with a generous mouthfeel, smoothness, and a highly mineral finish. A quintessential example of its kind! The Selection Committee's favorite, rated 93/100.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, vinified in horizontal stainless steel vats on raw lees, aged on lees for 8 months without stirring.

Color:

Pale, bright golden yellow.

Nose:

Delicate and floral, with citrus aromas and fine saline notes.

Palate:

Full-bodied and suave, with ripe fruit, this complex wine delivers a delicate, mineral finish. A true model for its appellation!

Temperature:
