Wine:

Blending Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon on the stony soils of limestone and clay, the 2021 red IGP Alpilles Trévallon strikes a balance with classic equilibrium, avoiding an overly high alcohol content. This vintage is a standout success, almost immediately captivating due to its appeal: the youthful wine lets Syrah lead with its licorice and pepper aromas, while Cabernet adds a touch of lightly smoked blackcurrant. The smooth tannins and the delicious character of the vintage highlight this wine's elegance, poised for long-term cellaring. Rated 96/100 by RVF.

Trévallon stands out as an extraordinary wine, garnering three stars in the RVF Guide for its baroque, monumental structure. Eloi Dürrbach chose to step beyond the limitations of appellation designations, seeking a broader canvas to fully showcase the potential of his terroir. The deliberate selection of grape varieties, harvesting at peak maturity, meticulous winemaking methods, and prolonged aging have established this wine as an essential phenomenon.

From its inception, the vineyard has been managed organically, nestled within a wild and untouched natural setting on a limestone base. This unique enclave produces a wine that defies norms, characterized by an expression of finesse and remarkable vitality.
