Bright and effortlessly refined, the 2022 La Combe de Malleval White Condrieu shines with its vibrant minerality and seductive aromas of fresh stone fruits and white blossoms. Striking a perfect balance between richness and freshness, it delivers exceptional finesse, with a delicate yet structured mouthfeel, a gentle sense of power, and impeccable harmony. A superb expression of Condrieu—joyful, precise, and beautifully restrained, with no excess oak or weight. Aged on fine lees in barrels for nine months, it’s a bottle that’s just as delightful served as an apéritif. Awarded 93/100 by our Selection Committee and 94/100 by Revue du Vin de France, France’s leading wine publication.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. Fermentation in vats, aged for 7 months in barrels on fine lees.

Color:

Bright golden yellow.

Nose:

Notes of lily of the valley, wisteria and white peach mingle with hints of sweet spices.

Palate:

Rich and fresh, with sparkling fruity notes, this wine offers a masterful Viognier, with delicate, precise texture, subtle oak, salty notes and delicate bitterness.

Temperature:

Serve between 10 and 12°C.

Appetiser, fish in cream sauce, shellfish, lemon and garden sage langoustine, truffle scrambled eggs, spring vegetable risotto, mature Condrieu cheese.

Starting today, until 2028 and beyond for enthusiasts.
