Les Terriens - Côte-Rôtie - Rouge - 2020

Wine:

This 2020 red Côte Rôtie boasts seductive notes of bacon and a slight smokiness in a rich, powerful, and delicately spicy palate. The wine's beautiful consistency and elegant tannins will allow it to age well for another ten years or so. A classic and unifying style.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, 100% de-stemmed, each plot vinified and aged separately before blending, 20 days maceration with temperature control.
Aged 18 to 24 months in 600l barrels and demi-muids, racking and blending 6 weeks before bottling.

Color:

Bright red of good intensity.

Nose:

Smoky and peppery notes

Palate:

Rich and full-bodied, this elegant wine offers a harmonious palate with soft tannins and a decade of aging potential.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Grilled meat, flank steak with shallots, roast duck with chanterelles, roast suckling lamb, game birds.

Cellar aging:

From now until 2033.
