Wine:

The 2018 L’Esquerda Côtes du Roussillon Villages is yet another success. Parker praises it for its strong potential, not fully deployed to date. But we can already see the promise of a wine of great stature, with a strong temperament carried by aromas of ripe and intense fruits such as black berries, a fiery texture powered by strong tannins and a long finish. A wine that will continue to complexify and that is amongst our best-sellers already! Rated 90-93/100 by Parker.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, totally de-stemmed, aged for 7 to 8 months in concrete tanks.

Color:

Deep and intense red.

Nose:

Aromas of ripe and intense fruits and dark berries mixed with spicy notes.

Palate:

Strong and powerful, well framed by polished and racy tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Quail with mustard and honey, rabbit with Roquefort cheese, roast saddle of lamb.

From now until 2026
