Wine:

Another major achievement by Jorge Monzon! The 2019 Red Ribera del Duero Reserva is a pinnacle of elegance and strength, aged for 29 months in barrels. Based on 95% tempranillo, the rest in old varieties planted, at nearly 900 meters above sea level, it delivers a concentrated but precise juice, elegant and subtle. A great energy emerges around a silky tannic structure, a spicy and tense flesh, a deep finish. Great art!

Intense and brilliant red.

Nose:

Concentrated but precise, aromas of black fruits haloed by a fine spicy touch.

Palate:

Round and deep, this wine releases with precision a palate at the height of elegance and strength and with a silky tannic structure.

Temperature:

Decant before serving between 16 and 18°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Spiced pork tenderloin, chipirons in ink, roasted lamb in a crown.

From now until 2036
