Wine:

The 2018 white Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Château-Thébaud benefits from an extended aging on lees for 5 years. This process brings out a floral touch, white fruit aromas, and a substantial, highly complex character. The palate is dense, pure, and brightly vibrant, carrying great energy and resonance. It's a wine that delights with its smoothness and fine texture, offering magnificent depth with noble bitterness and persistent minerality. An exceptional aging potential is evident, of 10 years and more. A favorite of the Selection Committee and RVF, rated 93/100.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, whole-cluster pneumatic pressing, indigenous yeasts. Malolactic fermentation not sought. Aged on lees for 60 months without stirring.

A lovely, assertive mineral profile underlined by white fruit flavors, a floral touch

Palate:

This cuvée is pure, dense and dynamic, with a beautiful sparkle and mineral complexity. A wine with exceptional ageing potential!
