Wine:
The 2021 Red Crozes-Hermitage Grand Classique has a crisp ripeness, with a delicate smoky finish and a very restrained oakiness. The palate remains taut, fine and pleasantly fruity, with a lovely fresh finish. Very accessible today, supported by a slight roasted note, this Syrah will go well with white meat or veal chop, for example. Rated 92/100 by the Comité.Vinification:
Hand harvested. Total destemming, traditional fermentation in stainless steel and temperature-controlled concrete vats. Vatting for 15 to 20 days. Aged 70% in vats for 9 to 12 months and 30% in 400-liter oak barrels.Color:
