Wine:

Produced from a plot planted in 1934, the 2017 Red Côte Rôtie Côte Blonde is a masterful wine, the apotheosis of the estate, with a bright future. Ripe, suave, and remarkably well-balanced, it combines fresh, deep aromas of fruit with a dense, concentrated but not excessive palate, featuring smooth tannins and flavors of black fruits and spices. A very nice discovery. Rated 94/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, aged in barrels of one to two wines for 24 months.

Bright red of good intensity.

Nose:

Fragrances of red and black fruits punctuated with fine smoky notes.

Palate:

Of beautiful aromatic complexity, this wine unfolds a fresh and deep palate of beautiful concentration and great maturity!

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Quails stuffed with foie gras or roasted with chestnuts, marinated venison, jugged hare.
