The 2019 Red Carinena Garnacha is an absolutely delicious pure Grenache wine. Devilishly charming with its notes of pot pourri, red and stone fruits, it unfolds a fresh, sensual, extremely balanced palate with a rich texture highlighted by polished tannins, with a great finesse of style. We’re sure you’re going to love it! A Selection Committee Favorite rated 94/100.

Vinification:

Hand harvested. 40% in whole bunches. Vinification in open stainless steel tanks with cold maceration for 24 to 48 hours. Fermentation for 40 days with gentle pumping over. Aged for 12 months, 65% in concrete vats and 35% in 500 liter French oak barrels.

Deep purple red, bright.

Nose:

Aromas of red and stone fruits mixed with floral notes, pot pourri and woody accents.

Palate:

Full-bodied and harmonious with delicious fruity flavors. Carried by polished tannins, this wine reveals a fresh, sensual, extremely well-balanced palate, with a great finesse of style.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C in large glasses.

Food and wine pairing:

Tasty roasted or simmered meats, lamb shoulder cooked for seven hours, pork shank roasted with garlic and shallots, beef cheek confit with spices.
