A haven of unsuspected treasures, the Douro produces wines of an innate freshness. Alongside the ports that have made its reputation, the region specializes in delicious reds and white wines, masterpieces made possible by the altitude, the local grape varieties, the schist soils and the respect for the traditions of this part of Europe, which preserves a Dantesque vine culture, clinging to the slopes overlooking the river.
