Wine:

A perfect blend! Bringing together all the terroirs of the southern Rhone Valley, the 2019 Red Côtes-du-Rhône Cuvée 100% offers a complete reading of this terroir. 156 parcels of high altitude, on hillsides, have been selected, those most mature and most distinguished. The result is an intense red wine, with notes of garrigue, black fruits and spices, with a touch of cocoa. Both concentrated and supple, carried by fresh and polished tannins, this Côtes-du-Rhône of great style combines all the qualities. Imparable, especially at this price level, with a shoulder of lamb confit or a fillet of beef.

Vinification:

Hand harvested from 156 plots located at high altitude on almost 100% of the terroirs of the Southern Rhône Valley.
Vinification carried out separately by "couple" of grape varieties with similar maturity. Cold maceration of Syrah and Mourvèdre. Maturation of 40% in French oak barrels from Allier and 60% in concrete tanks. 10% reserve wines in the blend to soften the tannic structure and bring tertiary aromas.

Color:

Red of beautiful intensity, with a carmine disk, brilliant.

Nose:

Aromas of black fruits, spices mixed with notes of garrigue and a touch of cocoa.

Palate:

Supple and concentrated, carried by fresh and polished tannins, this wine unfolds a generous and tasty palate with a long and persistent finish.

Temperature:

Serve slightly chilled between 14 and 16°C, in a large glass.

Food and wine pairing:

Lamb shoulder confit with garlic and rosemary, beef tenderloin in a pepper crust, roasted duck confit, pork tenderloin Provencal style.
