Concentrated and full-bodied, the 2019 Red Navarra Cuatro del Cuatro displays a masterful balance. This is without a doubt the finest graciano in our selection, a black grape offering a ripe, precise, perfumed wine, with notes of licorice and olive, cherry and wild blackberry. This red wine of great depth delights in one go, with a fabulous texture and a touch of freshness on the finish. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested in 8kg boxes. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts.
Long aging of 12 months in 500 liter French oak barrels.

Garnet red with purple highlights

Nose:

Aromas of forest fruits and red fruits on notes of earth and spices.

Palate:

Fresh and well-balanced, this wine reveals a delicate texture with hints of liquorice and wild berries, an expressive minerality offering a velvety length in the palate.

Temperature:

Serve between 16 and 18°C.

Snacked duck breast and roasted squash, pigeon pie with port sauce, hay tomme, chocolate mi-cuit 70% cocoa.
