Pura Vida is Costa Rica’s first premium rum house, offering a truly exceptional range. Behind this project are Alexandre Sirech and Jean Moueix—the visionary duo behind Les Bienheureux—who bring their deep expertise to a groundbreaking collection. By blending the three great rum traditions—pure cane juice, cane honey, and molasses—they’ve created a lineup that’s genuinely one-of-a-kind.

Puro is the pinnacle of this elite artisanal production—a rare, extra-aged rum made from 100% pure Costa Rican cane juice. Distilled in a traditional pot still and aged in small Oloroso Sherry casks in Charente under the guidance of Les Bienheureux, it’s a true showcase of mastery.

This exceptional rum captures the soul of Costa Rican style with its warm notes of caramel, vanilla, and dried fruit, all wrapped in a silky texture. A true standout.

Crafted from pure sugarcane juice, Pura Vida Puro Rum is aged in small batches in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. Bottled at 48% ABV and produced in limited quantities, it opens with a rich, powerful nose layered with exotic wood, indulgent dried fruit—figs and dates in particular—and a touch of warm spice. Subtle licorice and deep dark chocolate add complexity and refinement to this distinctive aromatic profile. On the palate, it’s vibrant and finely structured, delivering remarkable length and an unexpected harmony of nutty and smoky notes.
